Guillermo Aguilar

Guillermo M. Aguilar, AIA, is Principal of Aguilar Architects, Inc. He has 30 years of experience in planning, managing, and designing complex projects and facilities for a diverse set of clients. He provides consulting services to government, private industry, and allied businesses in the fields of project evaluation; physical and land use planning; urban design plans, policy, and guidelines; and architecture for education, transportation, mixed-use, and community buildings.

Guillermo has established a reputation for imaginative design and a collaborative, client-centered approach. His appreciation of cost and schedule and in-depth knowledge of the development and construction industries ensure that projects receive the best possible strategic advice, analysis, document preparation, and processing assistance. His international experience has provided him with insight on foreign practices, client knowledge, and an extensive pool of business contacts throughout Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim.

Guillermo has been associated with major development companies such as The Irvine Co., Homart Development Co., and The Walt Disney Development Co. He has been a Principal at leading design firms and most recently served as Principal and Studio Director for the education and transportation sectors at gkkworks. He previously served as CEO of transitworks, a transportation-focused architecture and planning firm with offices in Irvine, CA and Barcelona, Spain.
